1. Copyright Infringement Notice (DMCA Compliance)
movies.biz respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We will respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
It is our policy to, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
2. No Hosting of Files
Please note that movies.biz does not host any video files, movies, or television shows on its servers. We are a directory and discovery service. We provide information about movies, embed publicly available YouTube trailers, and link to authorized third-party streaming platforms (such as Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, and YouTube) where the content is legally hosted.
We do not control, upload, or moderate the content found on those external platforms.
3. Responsibility of Third-Party Platforms
Any copyright complaints regarding the actual content of a movie (the full film) should be directed to the platform hosting that content (e.g., YouTube, Netflix, etc.), as they are the publishers and hosts. movies.biz merely provides a link to those platforms.
4. Notice of Claimed Infringement (Takedown Procedure)
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content on movies.biz (such as text, images, or embedded links) links to a third-party site that infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA.
To be effective, your notification must include the following information in writing:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material. Please provide the specific URL(s) (e.g., movies.biz/movie/example-movie) where the link is located.

- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
