High-Flying Adventure Above the World of Cars
From the world above Cars comes Planes, a high-octane animated comedy adventure featuring Dusty Crophopper, a small-town plane with dreams of competing as a high-flying racer. Despite his heart of gold and ambitious spirit, Dusty faces two major obstacles: he isn’t exactly built for racing, and he happens to be afraid of heights.
With the support of his mentor, Skipper, and a host of new friends, Dusty heads to the international racing circuit to take on the defending champ, Ripslinger. It is a classic underdog story that proves that with enough courage and support, you can soar far beyond your built-in limitations. The film is a spin-off of Pixar’s Cars franchise, though produced by DisneyToon Studios, bringing the same vibrant animation style to the skies.
